Electrical engineering is one of the core fields of engineering, so it is always evergreen in terms of scope and job prospects. Electrical Engineering is the heart of whole engineering discipline and therefore its scope will never fade even many years from now. Nowadays, we see Electronics playing an important role in the implementation and control of Electrical Machines. Keeping this fact file in mind, the course has transformed from core electrical Engineering into a Fusion of Electronics and Electrical and has been renamed as Electronics and Electrical engineering.

The Electrical Engineering Department was established in the year 2013. The Electrical Engineering group offers Bachelor of Engineering programme with intake of 60 students in 1st shift. The EE programme is very well equipped with laboratory facilities and constantly upgrading available hardware and software to create conducive research / testing environment leading to a great opportunity to learn and progress in different technical domains.

The aim of the department is to prepare graduates with knowledge and technical skill refined with professional touch and to make them capable of undertaking electrical engineering profession meeting the challenges of 21st century. The department has qualified faculty members engaged in teaching and research having excellence in various fields. The faculty members are young, dynamic and ready to meet the academic needs of students.
