Civil Engineering is one of the oldest stream of Engineering in the world. Apart from being the oldest branch, this is one branch which incorporates expertise from several different streams including geotechnical sciences, structural engineering, environmental studies, hydraulics, transportation and hydrology. Clearly, this makes Civil Engineering - a largest stream in Engineering world. The Department initiated in 2014, offers undergraduate course in Civil Engineering with intake of 60 students in First Year & 60 students in Second Year. We have well equipped laboratories which adequately fulfill the requirements of undergraduate course. The department has laboratories with state-of-the-art equipments. The departmental activities embrace Planning, Design, Construction and Management.

Course Objectives:

• To provide a strong foundation to students in the arena of mathematics, basic engineering sciences, and experimental techniques necessary to solve civil engineering related problems.
